Biography

LMC Pathology Services, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice is privileged to include Annamarie L. Carley, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Carley has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive academic background.

Dr. Carley graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. Here, she went on to receive her medical degree, where she was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was the recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glascow Memorial Achievement Citation Award.

Dr. Carley went on to serve a four-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis, where she subsequently finished a surgical pathology fellowship. She later completed a breast/GYN pathology fellowship at the Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Dr. Carley has since held a series of key positions in hospitals and laboratories. She was a staff pathologist at Regions Hospital in St. Paul Minnesota, where she also served as laboratory director and medical director. She is currently co-chair of the cancer committee and the medical director of anatomic pathology and point of care testing at Summerlin Hospital in Clark County, Nevada. She has worked with LMC Pathology Services since 2014.

Dr. Carley belongs to several professional medical societies, including the College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

She has coauthored medical articles that have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. She has also prepared several abstract and oral presentations for professional society meetings.

Dr. Carley holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
