Biography
LMC Pathology Services, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice is privileged to include June D. Sigman, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Sigman has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive research and academic background.
Dr. Sigman completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, where she served as chief resident, at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in Salt Lake City. She went on to become a surgical pathology fellow at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, where she also completed a fellowship in cytopathology.
Over the years, Dr. Sigman has acquired extensive hospital and professional experience. She has served as clinical laboratory director where she was responsible for national recruitment of nine pathologists, prior to her position as permanent laboratory director of the VHS Core Laboratory in Las Vegas.
Dr. Sigman is a member of several medical professional associations, including the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology and the American Society for Cytopathology. She has authored and co-authored seven manuscripts and numerous case presentations and published abstracts. She has also presented at scholarly meetings and conferences throughout her career.
Dr. Sigman holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and cytopathology.
