Result Reporting / Turnaround Time
Results reporting may be customized to meet your practice’s needs.
Pathology reports may be hand delivered by a courier, faxed to the
clients location, sent through the mail, or sent electronically
through our website. Pathology reports may be auto-faxed as soon as
the pathologist has signed the report. The majority of diagnostic
surgical pathology cases are completed within 48 hours. Most Pap
smear reports are completed within 5 working days. Complex cases
that require more extensive testing or further consultation will
require more time for a final report to be generated.
