Overview
LMC’s pediatric pathology service provides expertise in the diagnosis of a wide range of pediatric disorders ranging from Hirchsprung’s disease of the intestine to neuroblastoma and other childhood neoplasms. LMC has provided exceptional pathologic service to Sunrise Children’s Hospital and the Las Vegas community for many years.

Special studies such as cytogenetics, immunohistochemistry, and molecular diagnostics are integral in the diagnosis of childhood tumors and we offer an extensive menu of immunohistochemical markers. When necessary for optimal diagnosis, patient tumor specimens are sent to outside reference labs for molecular genetic studies. Our pediatric pathologist is an expert at correlating all pertinent pathologic information to provide the pediatric surgeon and oncologist with the most accurate diagnosis.

Our goal is to provide our young patients the best medical care to ensure they receive the most appropriate and timely treatment.
