Joel S. Bentz, M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Bentz received his Medical Degree from the University of North Dakota; he completed a Fellowship in cytopathology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT, and a transitional residency at the University of North Dakota Meritcare Health System in Fargo, ND.  Dr. Bentz joined LMC in 2009 and is board certified in cytopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 


David R. Coon, Ph.D., M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Coon received his Ph.D. degree from Princeton University and his M.D. from the University of Hawaii, John Burns School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in hematopathology from the University of California, Center for Health in Los Angeles, CA as well as a Residency in anatomic and clinical pathology from Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Coon joined LMC in 2009 and is board certified in hematopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

  

 


Bert G. Dougherty, M.D., F.C.A.P.


Dr. Dougherty received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed a surgical pathology fellowship and a cytopathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX as well as a pathology residency at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and the University of Texas, Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX. Dr. Dougherty joined LMC in 2009 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 


Marcus A Erling, M.D. , F.C.A.P.

Dr. Erling received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in Birmingham, AL. He completed an anatomic pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX with a special study in genitourinary pathology. He also completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Texas and a medicine internship at the University of New Mexico. In addition Dr. Erling completed a study in neuropathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology - Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Erling joined LMC in 1986 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.  

 


Jonathan H Hughes, M.D., Ph.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Hughes received his Ph.D. and M.D. degrees from Washington University, School of Medicine. He completed a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, a surgical pathology fellowship at Washington University - Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO as well as an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Hughes joined LMC in 1999 and is board certified in cytopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 

 


Ronald J Knoblock, M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Knoblock received his Medical Degree from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in hematopathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, a forensic pathology fellowship at Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Chicago, IL as well as an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Knoblock joined LMC in 2006 and is board certified in hematopathology, forensic pathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 

 


Juanito Y. Lim, M.D., F.C.A.P.


Dr. Lim received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. He completed a clinical pathology fellowship at the Louisiana State University Medical Center, Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA, a biochemistry postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Alabama School of Medicine in Mobile, AL, as well as an internal medicine residency at Manila Doctors Hospital in Manila, Philippines and a rotating internship at the Makati Medical Center in Makati, Philippines. Dr. Lim joined LMC in 2007 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 


David P Marmaduke, M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Marmaduke received his medical degree from Ohio State University, College of Medicine. He completed a hematopathology and flow cytometry fellowship at the University of New Mexico, Health Services Center. He was baba fellow of pathology during his clinical coagulation fellowship at Ohio State University and completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the hospitals of this institution. Dr. Marmaduke joined LMC in 2002 and is board certified in hematopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 


Paul J Michaels, M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Michaels received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Medicine. He completed a cytopathology fellowship and an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Michaels joined LMC in 2006 and is board certified in cytopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 

 


Todd C Murry, M.D., Ph.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Murry received both a Ph.D. and a M.D. degree from Louisiana State University, Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at Cornell University Medical Center in New York, NY and a surgical pathology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He also completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Murry joined LMC in 2001 and is board certified in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

 

 

 


Amanda Rivera-Begeman, D.O., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Rivera-Begeman received her medical degree from Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a pediatric pathology fellowship at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, TX and an anatomic and clinical Pathology residency at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Rivera-Begeman joined LMC in 2007 and is board certified in pediatric pathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

Dr. Sigman received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine. She completed a surgical pathology and cytopathology fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA as well as an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Sigman joined LMC in 1997 and is board certified in cytopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

Dr. Unger received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis. He completed a pathology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a rotating internship at the University of Nebraska. Noel S Yumiaco, M.D., F.C.A.P.

Dr. Yumiaco received his medical degree from Far Eastern University, Institute of Medicine. He completed a gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellowship and an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of California in Los Angeles, CA, as well as an internal medicine internship at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Education Program in Fresno, CA. Dr. Yumiaco joined LMC in 1999 and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
