The LMC urologic pathology service offers expert diagnoses of prostatic, urinary bladder, testicular, and kidney neoplasms and malignancies. We utilize cutting edge immunohistochemical studies as a supplement to histologic evaluation. This is particularly true with our prostatic biopsies where the most up to date molecular markers are used to distinguish between difficult benign and malignant prostatic lesions.

LMC offers sextant prostate biopsy kits to those urologists who prefer this collection method. We also offer expert cytologic interpretation of urine and urinary tract specimens for follow-up and diagnosis of bladder neoplasms. For difficult renal tumors, cytogenetic studies are available through our relationship with reference laboratories.

Dr. Erling is director of the genito-urinary service. Since 1984, he has concentrated on prostate and urologic pathology. He is a member of the International Society of Urologic Pathology and has gained the respect and continued support of many urologists in the Las Vegas region.
